How Does It Work ?

The experience of a networked home environment begins at the front door of the Smarthome.  The FINGERPRINT scanner is an integral part of the Smarthome experience - it is the key that unlocks the door to  Smarthome.

When a visitor presses the doorbell, the system recognizes the visitor as authorized or unknown. For the unknown guest, the system sounds the doorbell (which can be customized) and activates the Smarthome software. The software snaps a picture of the visitor with date and time and logs it into the database for future viewing. It also shows up the video of the visitor on the PC and allows audio conference with the visitor or axess to the door latch. The door latch can alternatively be opened using either a remote control or a manual big button.

For an authorized visitor the door either opens automatically or he/she gets a personalized message via the smart messaging system. The auto door lock can also be integrated with the auto light on so that you don't walk into a dark room. The authorized visitor is also logged into the database for future viewing.
